Blow-in attic insulation
Licensed and insured · Florida certification #CAC1824751 · Every job performed by the owner
Blow-in attic insulation to cut system runtime and energy costs — usually the cheapest thing you can do to a Florida house that runs its AC too hard.
Why this is an HVAC job
A Florida attic gets brutally hot, and everything below it — including your ductwork — sits in that heat. Adding insulation reduces the load the equipment has to fight, which shortens runtime, lowers bills, and takes wear off the system.
It also changes the sizing math. If you are replacing a system and the attic is under-insulated, insulating first can mean a smaller unit does the job better. Doing it in the other order means paying for capacity you did not need.
What we look at
Existing depth and coverage, gaps around penetrations and top plates, whether ductwork in the attic is buried or exposed, and attic ventilation. Insulation over a poorly sealed ceiling plane underperforms — air sealing first is often the better spend.
Straight answer first
If your attic already has adequate depth, we will tell you that adding more is not where your money should go. It is a genuinely effective upgrade on an under-insulated house and a waste on a well-insulated one.
Free estimates. We come out, look at the system, talk through your options, and give you a price in writing before any work starts. No sales team and no subcontractors — the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.
