Heating repair

Heat pump and electric heat repair — the half of the system most Florida homeowners find out about on the first cold morning in January.
Why heat fails here specifically
Heating runs a few weeks a year in Brevard County, which means components sit idle for months and then get asked to work hard with no warning. Strip heat elements, sequencers, and defrost boards fail in exactly that pattern.
On heat pumps, the reversing valve and defrost control are the parts that decide whether you have heat at all, and they are the parts a cooling-season tune-up often skips.
A common one: auxiliary strip heat running constantly because the heat pump is not engaging. You still get warm air, so nothing seems wrong — until the power bill shows up.
What we check
Heat pump operation in both modes, reversing valve function, defrost cycle, strip heat elements and sequencers, blower operation, airflow, and thermostat staging. If the system is heating on emergency heat when it should not be, we find out why.
Safety
If you smell gas or burning, or suspect a carbon monoxide problem, leave the building and call 911 or your utility before calling us.
Free estimates. We come out, look at the system, talk through your options, and give you a price in writing before any work starts. No sales team and no subcontractors — the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.
