AC repair in Brevard County

Licensed and insured · Florida certification #CAC1824751 · Every job performed by the owner

Systems that are not cooling, short cycling, freezing up, or leaking water. Diagnosed and repaired by the owner, on all major residential and light commercial brands — regardless of who installed it.

What we actually find most often

A capacitor. It is the single most common failure on a Florida condenser, it is cheap, and a system with a weak one will run hot and die early. If your unit hums but the fan does not spin, start there.

A fouled condensate drain. The float switch cuts the system off on purpose to keep water out of your ceiling, and the homeowner reads that as a dead unit. Clearing the line and checking the pitch is often the entire repair.

A dirty or corroded outdoor coil. It looks like a refrigerant problem in the numbers and is not. Cleaning the coil restores capacity and costs a fraction of a charge-and-hope.

Contactors, control boards, blower motors, and thermostats after that. Refrigerant leaks exist but are less common than the industry likes to pretend — and adding refrigerant without finding the leak is not a repair, it is a payment plan.

Before you call

Four things worth checking, because sometimes it saves you a service call: thermostat set to cool with fresh batteries, breakers for both the air handler and the outdoor unit, the air filter, and the condensate drain float switch.

If you smell gas or burning, or suspect carbon monoxide, leave the building and call 911 or your utility first. Do not wait on us.

How we quote it

We diagnose, tell you what failed, and give you a price in writing before any work starts. If the repair does not make sense against the age and condition of the system, we say so — and we do not push a replacement on a system that has life left in it.

Free estimates. We come out, look at the system, talk through your options, and give you a price in writing before any work starts. No sales team and no subcontractors — the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.
