Duct cleaning and repair

Licensed and insured · Florida certification #CAC1824751 · Every job performed by the owner

Cleaning, sealing, and replacement of leaking or dirty ductwork — the part of the system that decides whether the equipment you paid for actually does anything.

Ducts are where the money leaks out

A perfectly good air conditioner attached to a leaking duct system is cooling your attic. In an unconditioned Florida attic the losses are large, and you feel them as rooms that never cool and a system that runs constantly.

The older Melbourne and Eau Gallie neighborhoods are where we see this most: duct systems built for a smaller load, with undersized returns, that were never revisited when the equipment was replaced. Putting a new unit on that is spending money to feed the same problem.

Undersized returns specifically are worth checking. A system that cannot breathe will not reach its rated performance no matter what the label says.

When cleaning is the answer and when it is not

Cleaning helps when there is real debris, biological growth from a chronically wet coil, or construction dust in the system. It does not fix leaks, it does not fix bad design, and it is not an annual necessity for most homes. We will tell you which situation you are in rather than selling a cleaning by default.

Sealing and replacement

Sealing addresses leakage at joints and boots. Replacement makes sense when the duct system is undersized, crushed, or deteriorated past the point where sealing gets you anywhere. Either way you get the reasoning and a written price first.

Free estimates. We come out, look at the system, talk through your options, and give you a price in writing before any work starts. No sales team and no subcontractors — the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.
