Indoor air quality

Filtration and humidity control for homes with allergies, pets, or a house that never quite feels dry.
In Florida, air quality is mostly a humidity problem
Comfort here is about moisture as much as temperature. A house at 76 degrees and 45 percent humidity feels better than the same house at 72 and 60 percent, and costs less to run.
The usual cause of a humid house is an oversized system. It cools fast, shuts off early, and never runs long enough to pull water out of the air. No filter fixes that — it is a sizing and runtime problem, and we will tell you if that is what you have.
Sustained high humidity is also what grows biological material on coils and in ductwork, which is where the smell people describe as musty actually comes from.
Filtration
Higher-MERV filtration helps with allergens and dust, but only up to what your blower can pull. Putting a restrictive filter on a system that was not designed for it starves airflow and makes everything worse. The right filter is the best one your specific system can actually breathe through.
Media cabinets, UV, and purification have their place. We are straight about which ones do something measurable for your situation and which ones are mostly marketing.
What we look at
Runtime and sizing, coil and drain condition, duct leakage pulling attic air into the system, filter type and fit, and whether return air is being drawn from somewhere it should not be.
Free estimates. We come out, look at the system, talk through your options, and give you a price in writing before any work starts. No sales team and no subcontractors — the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.
